Play Therapy for Kids

Imagine a world where children can express their deepest feelings, work through challenges, and build confidence, all through the power of play. That’s the magic of play therapy!

In a warm and supportive space filled with toys, art supplies, and endless possibilities for imagination, I help children communicate and heal through their natural language: play.

Play therapy allows children to:

  • Express themselves freely: Toys become tools for expressing a full range of emotions, from joy and excitement to anger, sadness, and fear.

  • Process tough stuff: Play helps children make sense of challenging experiences like trauma, loss, or family changes.

  • Develop coping superpowers: Children learn new ways to manage their emotions, solve problems, and cope with stress.

  • Become their best selves: Play therapy builds confidence, self-esteem, and a positive sense of self.

It’s a powerful way to help children thrive.

Talk therapy for Teenagers

Growing up can be a rollercoaster of emotions. Teenagers face a lot – from friendship drama and school pressures to family changes and the ever-present challenge of figuring out who they are. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Therapy offers a safe and confidential space for teens to talk about anything that’s on their mind – anxiety, depression, relationships, or just the everyday struggles of being a teenager.

In these sessions, teens are in the driver’s seat. What we talk about is completely confidential (with a few rare exceptions if safety is a concern). It’s a place to be yourself, to feel all the feels without judgment – whether it’s anger, sadness, numbness, or anything in between.

Because teenagers are naturally open to new ideas and perspectives, therapy can make a real difference. It helps them develop coping skills, build resilience, and navigate this challenging period with greater confidence and self-awareness.

Family Counseling

Family is everything. But sometimes, even the closest families need a little help to navigate challenges and strengthen their bonds. That’s where family therapy comes in.

In a safe and supportive space, I guide families, especially those with children, to:

  • Reconnect and communicate: Learn to express yourselves openly and honestly, fostering deeper understanding and empathy.

  • Build bridges: Work through conflicts, heal past hurts, and create a more loving and connected family dynamic.

  • Face challenges together: Navigate life transitions, address behavioral issues, and support each other through difficult times.

Family therapy is a journey of growth and connection, empowering every family member to thrive.
